JEI Drilling & Cutting Solutions is a British company, manufacturing premium solutions for steel since 1993. The company is primarily recognised as the business behind the Minibeast and Magbeast range of portable magnetic drilling machines and Turbo annular broaching cutters.

For over 30 years, its mission has been to constantly innovate and develop a range of solutions to meet the changing and ever demanding challenges of industry, and continually develop its portfolio of products to cater for all types of hole making and cutting applications. Whether a customer is challenged with difficult material, is working within a restricted environment or has a demand which is out of the ordinary, JEI strives to find a process that fits the project. This is often achieved from a combination of its existing products or innovating and developing new ideas with the aim of providing the ideal solution.

Its range is further enhanced by the Steelbeast range of fabrication solutions, designed to prepare steel for further processes, with a complete range of solutions for plate and pipe bevelling, punching, sawing, grinding and weld automation.

JEI customers are supported by its highly experienced sales team, technical and service personnel. The knowledgeable team provides exceptional customer service and are always on hand to assist in finding the perfect solution for your project needs.

With a key focus on speeding up the process of metal joining, from edge preparation (bevelling) to automating the welding final process, the range is complimented with a full UK on site demonstration service, where Technical engineers can put the products through their paces to solve your application in a precise, cost saving manner.

Managing Director, David McFadden, says: “We don’t compromise on quality, when it comes to our products. In a tough, competitive market we ensure that our products are built to meet demands of the customer. When investing in a Steelbeast product, you can count on three things: It is hardwearing and built for industrial use; you are not compromising on quality; and, you will get a premium solution which will save time and cost.”

The recently launched MiniBeast Cordless will be demonstrated at the show. It has been designed as a compact, convenient lightweight industrial solution to make holes in steel as an alternative to mains power operation.

This exciting innovation and newest addition to the MiniBeast family incorporates an intelligent LED electronic control panel, putting the operator in charge to monitor the load, remaining battery power and magnetic holding force.

Compatible with CAS battery packs, the MiniBeast Cordless features maintenance-free motor slide rails, a convenient ergonomic carry handle and an impressive 36 mm diameter hole cutting capacity with either HSS or TCT cutters.

David McFadden concludes: “If you can’t make it to MACH 2024 in April at the NEC, let us come to you. Our fleet of fully equipped demonstration vehicles can make on-site visits to customers throughout mainland UK and Ireland to provide supported across every industry sector.”
